Healthy Eating During Breast Cancer Treatment
Meet Your Instructor
Susan is a registered dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. She has worked at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto since 1990, with both in and out-patients. Her areas of practice have been mainly with the breast, lung, thyroid and esophageal cancer populations.
Susan provides nutrition information classes for those on cancer treatment, including education sessions specifically for those being treated for breast cancer. She believes that good nutrition is part of the foundation that helps people maintain strength during treatment. She also values connecting with the community and has given nutrition sessions and written articles for various community organizations, such as Wellspring and Lung Cancer Canada.
