From the “Twins”…
Because of you, we are able to help so many people through our selected causes in so many different ways… The funds raised over the last two years provided camisoles to over 450 women from the Ottawa area and supported more than 525 people for an entire month.
“When I talk about the monies you have raised with women receiving the camisole, they are unequivocally thankful and proud that you think so highly of them to want to do this and all in Kelly’s memory. Little did any of us know what an impact this young woman with a breast cancer diagnosis would have on all of us!!!”
We are really excited about planning this year’s event. Speaking of thist year, Twins Causes have selected both The Kelly Project (Breast Cancer Action) and the Orleans-Cumberland Community Resource Centre (OCCRC) as their two causes once again! We hope that you are all as excited about this as we are!! The event will be at the Hammond Golf Course on Friday, August 23rd, 2019 – so mark your calendars!
We asked Michael what he loved to do in his free time, and he said to cruise the seas with his wife Susan. So, we thought, let’s have a LOVE BOAT party! Come on out on September 21st to celebrate one of Ottawa’s treasures, Michael O’Byrne. Cocktails at 6pm, dinner at 7 at the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre, 200 Coventry Road. Join us in celebrating Michael, his career, his family, his successes and philanthropic efforts. The evening will be chalk a block with cruise ship games, an homage as delivered by friends, family and colleagues. All proceed go to Breast Cancer Action Ottawa programs.
This informative event gathers a variety of people from the health and wellness field showcasing their products and services. With guest speakers, vendors and even healthy food ready to eat on site, everyone will benefit from attending! Please join us on October 19th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Also, all funds collected will be donated to breast cancer awareness!
Fall Back into Monte Carlo! Back again this year is BCA’s Annual Gala that promises to be fun, classy, and to the point of getting together to celebrate us – BCA Ottawa and its members. Good music, good company and maybe a little bit of light hearted gambling. The night promises to be filled with laughter, good music, great dancing and our live and silent auctions.
