Pre-Op Sessions

Pre-Operative Education Sessions are geared toward those scheduled to undergo surgery for breast cancer. Sessions are co-hosted by Breast Cancer Action in partnership with the Women’s Breast Health Centre.

These interactive, informative sessions are held at the Women’s Breast Health Centre, Civic Campus, Grimes Lodge, 5th floor, 200 Melrose Ave.

The outreach sessions, available free to charge, are held every two weeks on a Thursday.

  • Due to limited space, pre-registration for the session is required
  • To register please phone 613.761.4400, option 3. You may have to leave a message but they will get back to you (Note: the voice mail message does not mention pre-op specifically but it is the right number).

  • Participants are encouraged to bring a guest with them
