Book Club

Breast Cancer Action’s Book Reading Club, first introduced to our membership in April 2007 as an informal opportunity for those diagnosed with breast cancer to expand their social circle, is going strong!

The group meets at 10:30 am on the second Thursday of the month at rotating member’s homes where members hold a lively discussion about each selected book. New members are always welcome to join! (Note: If this time is not suitable, and if there is interest, the club is open to hosting a second discussion group.)

To learn how you can join the Book Reading Club, please contact BCA at 736.5921, or inquire via e-mail at: info@bcaott.ca.

The book selection for the next sessions are:

    • February: Loving Frank – Nancy Horan
    • March: The Setimentalists – Johanna Skibsrud
    • April: The Remains of the Day – Kazuo Ishiguro
    • May: The Cat’s Table – Michael Ondaatje
    • June: The Weed that Strings the Hangman’s Bag – Alan Bradley

Stay tuned for our summer/fall selection.
